Offering a significant update to the highly popular DJM-800 club mixer, here’s the DJM-900 nexus – the next level in
creativity for the pro DJ. Excellent computer connectivity, up-to-date effects and high performance features
and sound make this the centrepiece of any modern, professional DJ setup.

The DJM-900 nexus inherits the familiar DJM-800 layout. To match, we’ve rearranged the connection panel to
make it better and more intuitive.

What’s more, improved fader technology and audio circuits reduce the need for servicing and significantly
increase the mixer’s lifespan.

Features

Plug-and-play computer connectivity
A single USB connection is all you need for MIDI control for DJ software like Ableton and TRAKTOR™. Additionally, being TRAKTOR™ Scratch Certified, DVS Control becomes a breeze: connect one USB cable and control TRAKTOR with Timecode CD and/or vinyl, directly through the mixer and without using a box or time code disc.

Flawless Beat Effects with X-Pad and rekordbox™ Quantize
13 Beat Effects add creative opportunities for every DJ style. New effects include Spiral, Slip Roll, Melodic and an entirely updated Reverb. The DJM-900 Nexus expands the familiar Beat buttons with the industry-first X-Pad to engage effects and change their timing with an intuitive, touch-sensitive strip. The new rekordbox™ Quantizeeasily lets you match the BPM and beat positioning to the effects by pressing a single button – even as you adjust or bend the pitch. MIDI LFO adds in easy control of external effects.

rekordbox™ and Pro DJ Link
With Pro DJ Link, you can connect your laptop via a single LAN cable and use rekordbox™ software. And any compatible CDJ connected to the mixer can access rekordbox™ with a single connection. New Pro DJ Link features on the DJM-900 nexus include Now On Play indication, rekordbox™ Quantize and Cue Link, an additional channel that lets you monitor new tracks from rekordbox™ directly to your headphones.

6 Full-fledged, channel-assignable Sound Color FX
New, beefed-up effects turn creative vision into a reality at the twist of a dial. In addition to the essential Filter and Crush, the DJM-900 Nexus boasts 4 new modern effects. Noise is added by popular demand. Space reverb brings high-pass and low-pass ambiance.Dub Echo also has high-pass and low-pass control over a new tape delay effect. Gate/Comp strips back your music to the peaks, or beefs it up to seamlessly to blend drastically different productions together in the mix.

Better sound quality than competitor’s mixers
The DJM-900 nexus is equipped with the same high-quality audio input and output circuits as the DJM-2000. The 4-channel 96kHz/24-bit soundcard streams all audio signals with an S/N ratio of 120 dB, delivering more accurate performance than competitor’s mixers.

Sturdy and liquid proof
New fader technology and P-Lock fader caps will make the DJM-900 Nexus last for even longer between services in super-tough club environments. There are no more electronics directly under the fader, making the DJM-900 nexus much less vulnerable to damage from any liquids that might be spilled over it.

New Beat Effects

Reverb
DJs looking for processor-intensive reverbs no longer have to gamble with the stability of laptops to get the best quality. The DJM-900 nexus’ Reverb brings lush studio quality with a two-minute tail, pitched room size control and input frequency filtering for stunning results.

Spiral
This pitch echo with feedback looping can create psychedelic breakdowns and interludes from a single hit.

Slip Roll
A DJM-2000 favorite, this ultimate beat-mashing tool puts rhythmic slicing and dicing at your fingertips. Continuously re-sample and loop fresh chunks of audio as you slide between loop sizes on the X-PAD, in perfect time with the beat.

Melodic
This side-chain pitching sampler is another inspiration from the DJM-2000. Hit the X-PAD to simultaneously sample from the selected channel, and hold your finger down to trigger the sample from the peaks of the underlying music. Then slide your finger along to adjust the sample length while you change the playback pitch with the BEAT buttons.

MIDI LFO
DJs looking for processor-intensive reverbs no longer have to gamble with the stability of laptops to get the best quality. The DJM-900 nexus’ Reverb brings lush studio quality with a two-minute tail, pitched room size control and input frequency filtering for stunning results.

Setting Utility
When connected to a computer, this application lets you manage your mixer inputs and outputs.
On the Mixer Input tab, you get an overview of the selected inputs for each channel.
Channels connected to your computer show a blue arrow indicating a digital signal; any channels that use Line or Phono inputs show a grey arrow.
For multi-track recording purposes, the Mixer Output tab sets up what you want to record. You can select Cross Fader A/B, MIC or REC OUT.
Post CH Fader recording will include all fader movements, Beat Effects and Sound Colour FX adjustments. In this tab, you can also select Timecode to be sent to any DVS software.

The Marshall DSL-100H builds on the sounds and features of the JCM2000 DSL100 amplifier and adds digital reverb, even more tone adjustment, and the ability to switch between 50W and 100W output.

The mindset behind the Marshall DSL100H is a simple one and obviously identical to that of the original Marshall JCM2000 DSL100 head – combine the world-renowned EL34 driven power- stage of the 1959 Super Lead Plexi (SLP) 100W head with a dual channel valve preamp, giving you two footswitchable Super Leads in one. Then, for good measure, add a built-in, studio-quality, digital spring Reverb plus extra preamp gain that can take you into JCM800 2203 territory and far beyond it. Hence the name DSL – Dual Super Lead.

The Marshall DSL-100H features two footswitchable channels (footswitch supplied) named Classic Gain and Ultra Gain – each with two modes, selectable via a front-panel button. As their names imply, each channel has a very different character. Classic Gain takes you from a 1959 style clean to the snarl of a JCM800 2203, and everything in-between, via its Clean/ Crunch mode button. Ultra Gain, on the other hand, takes you from a hot-rodded 2203 vibe to an even higher gain response with additional mid-boost, via its Lead 1/Lead 2, mode switch.

Both channels share a passive three-band EQ with controls for Bass, Middle and Treble. The Equalisation section also features a Tone Shift button which, when activated (pushed in), shifts out the mid frequencies making the amp ideal for brutal, modern metal tones, especially when combined with high gain settings. Each channel also has its own individual Reverb level control for the built-in studio quality digital spring reverb, This effect can be switched on/off via the supplied footswitch.

The Marshall DSL-100H’s power section features controls for Resonance and Presence. Resonance adds a variable bass boost to your sound without muddying it up, while the Presence adds high end. The ability to select either full output power or half-power via the Pentode/Triode switch on the rear panel, adds further to your DSL’s already impressive feature set. The all-round tonal and gain versatility makes both the DSL100H & DSL40C superb and flexible performance tools for today’s most demanding playing situations and you can rest assured it is packed full of our famed Marshall tone.

The ability to select either full output power or half-power via the Pentode/Triode switch on the rear panel, adds further to your DSL’s already impressive feature set.

Features

Capable of conjuring any classic Marshall sound – past or present
Two channels: Classic Gain and Ultra Gain
Each channel boasts two modes: Clean/Crunch and Lead 1/Lead 2, respectively
Highly effective Resonance control replaces the original’s fixed Deep switch
Tone Shift button gives you incredible tonal flexibility
Studio-grade digital Reverb
Rear-panel Pentode/Triode switch drops the amp’s output to a club-and-studio-friendly 50 watts
Bypassable rear-panel Series FX loop
Included 2-way footswitch for channel switching and Reverb on/off

The Novation Impulse 61 MIDI master keyboard features 61 synth-weighted keys and a large range of MIDI controllers including 8 x MIDI faders, 8 x MIDI pots and 8 x MIDI drum pads, all of which can be assigned to any MIDI controller value. Many presets are available, including settings for most of the leading DAWs such as ProTools, Logic and Ableton Live.

Features

The Novation Impulse 61 USB / MIDI controller features a precision keyboard and a full control surface powered by a brand new version of Novation’s <abbr title="Automap is a new system devised by Novation, whereby parameter mapping is done automatically as the user navigates around their session with ease. When an Automap-supported application is booted up (providing the simple setup procedure on the accompanying CD has been carried out), the SL will switch to the Automap Template and do all the hard work for you. Then, all you need to do is press one button on the SL or click once with the mouse to switch between controlling different instruments and areas of the session. Each application works slightly differently due to the differences in the software but every one offers the next level of software integration and makes controlling infinitely simpler than before.
Impulse has a precision ‘players’ keyboard. It is semi-weighted with assignable<abbr title="Aftertouch is an additional key feature, which allows the use to add further performance effects when a key is pressed down. In addition to feeling good, it is incredibly accurate – this means it can translate musical expression (how you play the keyboard) extremely effectively. So your performance is reflected exactly by the synth or software instrument you are triggering.

Tube-powered VOX Valve Reactor circuit
Every guitar player seeks the power and playability delivered by a tube amp; the fat drive tone, wide dynamic range, subtle picking nuances, and quick response. After painstaking analysis of guitarists’ tastes and preferences, VOX has focused on the importance of the power amp circuit in creating the sonic characteristics long sought from tube amps. The VOX Valve Reactor was developed out of this power amp philosophy. Based on a 12AX7 vacuum tube, the Valve Reactor circuit at the heart of every Valvetronix+ Series amp perfectly reproduces the operation, subtle nuances, and tonal character of a real tube-powered amp.

More amp models than ever before
The new Valvetronix+ Series boasts an amazing collection of 33 distinct amp models – a new milestone for Valvetronix amplifiers. In addition, the Valvetronix+ represents a giant leap in quality. The preamp EQ features Bass, Middle and Treble controls for precise tone-shaping. Beginning with classic VOX amps such as the AC30, the diverse amp model selection continues to encompass coveted amps from the pages of history, as well as the latest high-gain amps, providing a sound selection that spans the ages. Call up the sound of an old favorite, or experiment with amps you may never have tried – sought-after amps played by your guitar heroes, rare boutique amps, and vintage amps – and pursue unexplored sonic paths.

25 Diverse, high-quality effects
One of the best features of VOX modeling amps is the ability to combine the built-in effects with the onboard amp models to create a complete and powerful sound. Just as with the effects, the Valvetronix+ Series makes no compromise when it comes to effects, boasting a level of quality that rivals top standalone units. The broad array of effects is divided into two sections: Pedal effects such as distortion, wah, and compressor; and Modulation/Delay effects such as chorus, flanger, and tape echo. In each section, there are 11 effects to choose from. Featuring easy-to-use settings, you can simultaneously select the effect type and adjust its parameters. In addition, there are three types of Reverb (Room, Spring, and Hall). With the addition of Noise Reduction, up to four different effects can be used at the same time.

99 Preset programs
The musicians at VOX have put together 99 preset programs, expertly voiced and ready for immediate use. Each of the 33 amp models provides three presets: Basic, Effected, and Song. An Effected preset calls up the correct combination of effect type and setting for a particular style.

Song presets are just like Effected presets; each one is a faithful recreation of the signature sound used by a famous guitarist to perform one of their classic tracks. Of course you’re also free to edit any preset – or start from scratch with the manual setting – and save up to eight of your own custom sounds to the User presets.

Beyond the numbers
One of the greatest advances from previous Valvetronix models is the astounding sense of power generated by the Valvetronix+ Series. The power amp section has the potential to significantly exceed the wattage value indicated by the model name – as indicated by the shaded section of the Power Level knob. The new Valvetronix+ Series also feature a newly re-voiced VOX original design speaker that is sure to amaze you with a powerful sound that you would not expect from a chassis and speaker of this size. These fine Valvetronix+ amplifiers genuinely deliver sonic power that cannot be expressed by mere numbers.

Seize the power
The sense of drive produced in the tube power stage is what defines the inimitably fat and warm tone that’s at the core of a great guitar amp sound. Our tube-driven Valve Reactor circuitry is at the heart of recreating this sound. Volume, Gain, and Master Volume controls provide key levels of controlling your gain to achieve a wealth of clean, overdriven and distorted sounds. In addition, these new Valvetronix+ Series amplifiers feature an altogether unique Power Level control. By lowering the Power Level, it’s possible to achieve high levels of gain and distortion at any listening level. And, as was mentioned above, reserve power can also be dialed in using the Power Level control when you really need your amp to scream. The Power Level control allows you to take full advantage of the Valvetronix+ Series potential in any situation.

Convenient and versatile input and output
The headphone out jack can also be used as a direct line output. This output is equipped with the simulated response and character of a speaker cabinet, so you’ll enjoy the natural spatial sense of playing through speakers, even when using headphones or when connected to a mixer or recording system. Plug your CD or MP3 player into the AUX input jack and enjoy jamming along with your favorite songs. In addition, the tuning function needed by every guitarist is built in, eliminating the need for a separate tuner.

Optional VFS5 footswitch operation
Plug in the optional VFS5 footswitch is connected, and use your feet to switch programs, turn the reverb and other effects on/off, and control their speed, providing additional options for sonic creativity and live performance power.

The Yamaha MG102C is a very lightweight compact mixer with simple controls. The Yamaha MG102C features four mic/line channels (two with compression) and two stereo line channels, one auxiliary send, and basic channel EQ.

Lightweight, Portable Designs

Designing a lightweight mixer is not too difficult, but designing a lightweight, compact mixer that delivers serious performance is another matter. The Yamaha design team went to extraordinary lengths in the MG series, including in-depth material and structural analysis, to bring you maximum manageability and maximum performance in the same packages. The result is that you can easily pop the smallest models into your briefcase or shoulder bag and take with you anywhere. Even the larger models can be tucked under an arm and carried around quite easily. But the performance you’ll get at the studio, club, hall, or anywhere you choose to use these fine mixers is far from lightweight. Every one of the MG series mixers provides significant space savings along with huge performance benefits.

Versatile Connectivity and Pro-class Connectors

Top-mounted input and output connectors make setting up and re-patching your system quick and easy. All models feature high-quality Neutrik™ balanced XLR connectors on mono microphone/line channels and XLR-equipped stereo channels. These professional-class connectors were subjected to extensive testing by the Yamaha design team, and were chosen for the MG mixers for their superior reliability and sonic qualities. The XLR-equipped stereo channels can accept mono microphone input either via the XLR or phone jack connectors. The remaining stereo channels provide phone jack and pin jack connectors for compatibility with a wide range of sources. Mono input channels also feature insert I/O connectors that let you patch external signal processing gear into those channels as required. Separate pinjack 2TR inputs are provided to accept the output from a CD player or similar stereo source.

Built-in Channel Compressors

This advanced feature can be a tremendous advantage in achieving great vocal sound, as well as to refine the sound of bass, guitar, and other sources. You won’t find built-in channel compression on too many other mixers in this class, but in the new MG mixers you have Yamaha’s innovative one-knob compression feature on several of the mono input channels. Conventional audio compressors with their threshold, ratio, knee, makeup gain and other controls can be complex and timeconsuming to set appropriately for a given source. Yamaha’s one-knob compressor eliminates the need for an engineering degree with a single control that lets you simply dial in the amount of compression you want.

High-performance Microphone Preamplifiers with Switchable Phantom Power

Microphone preamplifiers are critical in any mixer, and a performance bottleneck in many. That’s why pros often spend thousands of dollars on just a single channel of microphone pre-amplification. The microphone preamps built into the MG mixers inherit technology from Yamaha’s top-line professional consoles, and have been painstakingly designed to deliver superior sonic performance with any dynamic or condenser microphone. Gain trim covers a wide – 60dB ~ -16dB range for microphones (-34dB ~ +10dB for line input), so you’ll be able to achieve optimum level matching with just about any source. All microphone preamps also feature switchable phantom power so you can take advantage of the natural, extended response of high-quality condenser microphones.

3-band Channel EQ and High-pass Filters

Building a truly useful, musical-sounding channel equalizer is no easy task, but Yamaha has decades of experience in building pro consoles to draw on. You reap the benefits in the MG series mixers: all mono channels feature 3-band equalizers with LOW, MID, and HIGH controls. Depending on the model some of all of the stereo channels have 2-band EQ for smooth equalization of stereo sources. Although not directly related to the equalizer circuitry, all inputs also feature 80 Hz low-pass filters that can be used to eliminate subsonic noise that is outside the equalizers’ range.

Aux/Effect Sends

All models except the MG82CX have from one to three AUX sends for convenient to processing and monitor systems. Master send controls are also provided, as are RETURN level controls for the AUX and STEREO busses. “CX” models have EFFECT send controls on all channels that adjust the level of the signal sent from the corresponding channel to the mixer’s internal multi-effect system. The same signal can also be sent to external effect processors via the mixer’s EFFECT SEND jack.

Two, Four or Six Buses (Stereo and Group)

The smallest models in the lineup – the MG82CX and MG102C – have a single stereo bus (i.e. two mono buses). All other models additionally feature one or two stereo group buses and outputs that can be used for convenient channel grouping. Assign switches for the stereo and group buses are located next to each channel fader.

Smooth 60-millimeter Faders & Illuminated Channel ON Switches

While the MG82CX and MG102C feature rotary faders, channel and master level control on all other models is accomplished via reliable, highperformance 60-millimeter linear faders that provide smooth, noise-free operation. When you have more than a few channels the direct visual indication of relative level settings can be an important advantage. Models with linear faders also feature illuminated channel ON switches that can be used to individually add or remove channels from the mix without having to change the positions of the channel faders.

Bright Meters for Visual Level Monitoring

Accurate visual level monitoring can help you achieve maximum signal-to-noise ratio without distortion. The MG mixer’s bright, easy-to-read multi-segment LED meters make it easy to control system levels for optimum overall performance.

Optional Mic Stand Mount for the MG82CX and MG102C

Both the MG82CX and MG102C can be mounted on a microphone stand for optimal positioning and easy access using the optional BMS-10A Mic Stand Adaptor. This can be particularly handy when using one of them as a sub-mixer for drums or as a cue box in recording situations.

Easy Operation

All switches, controls, and displays have been designed and laid out for intuitive access and smooth, reliable operation with positive tactile and visual feedback.

The Yamaha MSR400 can be added to our small band and vocal PA systems as a monitor wedge. The built-in amplifier makes the MSR400 very simple to add to any system. Simply add power and a line signal from the desired monitor mix.

The Yamaha MSR400 is a compact and lightweight mains-powered loudspeaker with a surprisingly punchy sound. The Yamaha MSR400 is ideal for use as a stand-alone PA system with either a mic or line input, as a stage monitor or as a club system for DJs or iPod playback. It can be combined with the Yamaha MSR800W powered subwoofer to form a bigger system and individual cabinets can be linked for public address or monitoring from a single source.

Features

400 Watts of Bi-amped Power
The Yamaha MSR400 employs a two-way bi-amplified system in which the low-frequency and high-frequency drivers have their own dedicated amplifiers. The 12-inch cone type woofer and the 1.75-inch high-frequency horn driver deliver total output power of up to 400 watts (LF: 300 watts, HF: 100 watts burst; 300 watts continuous total).

Inputs for a Variety of Sources
The Yamaha MSR400 provides three input connectors; XLR-3-31, XLR-3-32, and phone jacks. All inputs are balanced and connected in parallel. The input level range is from -36 dB to +4 dB, allowing the Yamaha MSR400 to accept output from your mixer as well as other sources such as microphones, synthesizers, or other electronic musical instrument. The control section includes input level adjustment and a two-band equalizer so you can make fine adjustments for optimum matching with your input source.

A Range of Mounting Options
The Yamaha MSR400 can be mounted and positioned in a number of ways to meet the needs of venues or events. It can be placed vertically on the floor, used as a stage monitor, or even mounted on a speaker stand for improved projection. The top surface of the cabinet provides 8-mm threaded holes that facilitate wall or ceiling mounting.

Peak LED for Visual Level Monitoring
In addition to the green LED that lights when the power is turned on, there’s a peak LED that lights red when an input overload occurs. This provides a visual indication of excessive input, allowing you to adjust the input level appropriately.
