Yamaha M7CL-48ES digital mixer

Digital mixing consoles can pack an extraordinary amount of processing power into a small footprint. The Yamaha M7CL, M7CL-48ES, LS9-32 and LS9-16 all share a mix engine that includes dynamic effects such as compression and gating and comprehensive digital EQ on all channels and assignable high-quality DSP for graphic EQ and digital effects, removing the requirement for outboard effects and processing racks. Signals on our digital mixers can be easily routed between inputs, channels and outputs, providing flexibility for complex mixes, special effects or large spaces.

Sometimes an analogue mixer is all you need, and there is no disputing that a good-quality analogue mixing desk can sound better and allow more headroom than a digital mixer, and has the advantage of instant access to all of the knobs and faders.
