This system is designed to bring the quality of our larger concert systems to smaller venues. The system will give excellent results for live concerts in a medium sized venue where the whole band will be mic'ed, and will cover an audience of up to 250 people. The Midas Venice 160 offers all the facilities & performance of the larger Midas Venice 320 but with fewer channels. 8 mono mic/line channels and a further 4 channels with a choice of mono mic/line or stereo line inputs are available, giving up to 16 inputs with full-featured channel control. Additional effects returns and stereo line inputs are also provided. The Midas Venice 160 is mounted above the effects rack and pre-wired to provide a powerful control interface with a small footprint and fast set-up. A set of mics & stands sufficient for a 4 or 5-piece guitar band are included and monitoring is covered by four wedges on two mixes. A 25m multicore will allow mixing from the back of the hall in most venues. The d&b loudspeakers offer amazing performance with a small footprint and the excellent bass frequency response makes this system ideal for DJs as well as live music. The system will run in mono from a single d&b P1200 amplifier as standard but a second P1200 can be added at extra cost if stereo is required. Please note that a reasonably experienced engineer is required to set up and operate this system and a large van will be required for its transportation.
