This system will give excellent results for live concerts in a small venue where a band and DJ will perform, and will cover an audience of up to 200 people. This package has been designed for set-up and operation by a semi-skilled engineer and is suitable for "dry" hire.

The mixer output is wired to a 2kW external amplifier and the internal amplifiers of the EMX-5000/12 are used to drive two stage monitors. The system will handle instruments as well as vocals but electric guitars and basses would usually be kept through their own backline. Although designed with budget in mind the system offers excellent sound quality and is easy to operate. The EMX-5000/12 mixer includes two internal high-quality SPX-series eeffects units and a 7-band graphic EQ.
