A development of the long-running SGX-1D, this stage piano offers up to 64-note polyphony from its internal 24Mb sound ROM. Master keyboard facilities include the ability to control up to 8 external sound sources from a potential 32 MIDI channels (with programmable volume, panning, key range and controller settings) in Performance mode. There are 64 user-programmable Performances available. Mono samples are taken from the SGX-1D and there is a 15 MB stereo sampled grand in addition to the usual range of EP, bass, strings and organ sounds.
