Shure SM58 cardioid dynamic vocal mic

The most common sight on a live music stage after beer and fags (for the benefit of our North American cousins, that refers to cigarettes….). These microphones are particularly good for vocals and, although possibly not the best vocal mic available, every sound engineer knows what to expect when they plug one in.

Frequency response tailored for vocals, with brightened midrange and bass rolloff.
Uniform cardioid pickup pattern isolates the main sound source and minimizes background noise.
Pneumatic shock-mount system cuts down handling noise.
Effective, built-in spherical wind and pop filter.
Legendary Shure quality, ruggedness, and reliability.
